- The Airfreight Operations Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of logistics operations through meticulous administrative and clerical support. This role manages essential office tasks, coordinates logistics activities, and provides comprehensive support to the team. This role demonstrates dependability in handling tasks, a caring attitude towards team collaboration, a proactive approach to improving processes, and a forward-thinking mindset to anticipate and solve challenges, all contributing to the operational success of the company
Key Tasks
- Driving and monitoring specific accounts performance commitments to achieve overall KPI targets.
- Managing the ocean business administration to increase approved carrier space allotment in close cooperation with the Regional FCL Trade Managers.
- Continuous review of market rates situation, yield return of the different carrier agreements (e.g. NACs, SPOT market) and space allocation to deliver optimal visibility and consistent quality of service to the internal and external customer
- Preparation of the capacity plans based on the aggregation of short-term and long-term capacity forecasts from Global agreement and Corporate trade lane performance.
- Preparation of the capacity visibility for specific key customer (upcoming volumes) and ensure the allocations required are covered
- Liaise short-term capacity planning with Area Trade-lane Managers to stimulate sales of respective cargo flows to achieve lower net achieved costs or to react on market conditions/requirements
- Prepare and conduct Monthly or Quarterly Business Review with the Approved carriers, set allocation performance KPI framework to be considered in the Area for specific SLAs with carriers
- Work with different stakeholders to prepare business and financial analysis reports to facilitate management's strategic and tactical decision making, including monthly and periodic management reports.
