Job Description

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Must have a licensed Radiologic Technologist.
  • With at least 3 years of work experience in the related field.
  • Knowledge in operating 2D Echo and General Ultrasound is required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform radiographic procedures as prescribed by the physician.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body.
  • Position patients and equipment appropriately, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
  • Input commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences.
  • Apply radiation safety measures and use protective devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  • Produce and review diagnostic images, report significant findings to the physician, and update patient records.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and ensure that radiology equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Assist the Chief Radiologic Technologist in implementing the facility's standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.
  • Perform related administrative tasks, including completing required forms, labeling films and envelopes, and maintaining procedure logs.
  • Other tasks that management may assign from time to time relevant to job position.
