Job Description

Location: Philippines

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales technical support for photovoltaic (PV) inverters, energy storage systems (ESS), and hybrid solutions.
  • Develop system designs, including equipment selection, configuration calculations, and complete technical solutions based on project requirements.
  • Support project bidding and tender processes by preparing technical proposals, documentation, and solution presentations.
  • Engage with clients in technical discussions, presentations, and solution alignment throughout the pre-sales stage.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams and coordinate with headquarters (product, R&D, and technical support) to ensure effective project execution.
  • Respond to customer technical inquiries with accurate and timely solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with local grid codes, electrical standards, and industry regulations.
  • Conduct market analysis, including customer requirements, competitor insights, and industry trends.
  • Participate in technical marketing activities to promote Sungrow's products and solutions.
  • Provide post-sales technical support and troubleshooting via remote or on-site engagement when needed.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, service records, and support operational tracking (e.g., spare parts and expenses).
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, marketing, logistics, finance, and warehouse) to enhance overall service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Electronics, Automation, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in renewable energy, photovoltaics, energy storage, or the power industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PV and ESS system design, inverter technologies, and grid connection standards.
  • Experience in pre-sales, technical support, or system solution design is preferred.
  • Proficiency in PVsyst and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to handle technical discussions independently.
  • Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset.
  • Proficiency in English; international or cross-border project experience is an advantage.
