Role Description The Solutions Engineer for Servers and Storage is a full-time, on-site role based in Mandaluyong. This position is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing server and storage solutions that meet client requirements and align with best practices. Daily activities include assessing customer environments, preparing solution proposals, performing integration and deployment tasks, and providing technical support during and after implementation. The role also involves collaborating closely with sales and presales teams to conduct product demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept activities. The Solutions Engineer will document solutions, maintain accurate configuration records, and stay current with emerging server and storage technologies to continuously improve offerings.
Qualifications
- Ability to design and implement solutions involving Software Development and Integration, focusing on servers, storage, and related infrastructure.
- Experience in Consulting, including requirements gathering, solution design, and advising clients on best-fit server and storage architectures.
- Background in Sales and Presales activities, such as technical presentations, solution scoping, proposal support, and responding to client inquiries.
- Strong knowledge of server platforms, storage technologies (SAN/NAS), virtualization, and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., vendor-specific server/storage, VMware, Microsoft, Linux) are an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on reliability, security, and performance in infrastructure solutions.
