Solutions Designer

The Solutions Designer role is a senior position within the Technology & Operations group, responsible for the development and delivery of innovative products and services. This role involves managing a product design and development team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that products meet customer needs while aligning with strategic objectives. The Solutions Designer plays a critical role in bridging technology and customer experience, driving projects from concept to launch.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Develop and deliver new products and services, as well as improvements to existing offerings.
2. Manage the product design and development team, creating processes to support their work.
3. Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and representatives from marketing, finance, and quality assurance.
4. Conduct research and analyze customer behavior to inform product development.
5. Facilitate product specifications and user stories, defining customer experiences through mock-ups and wireframes.
6. Work with Technology Leads to agree on architecture and present trade-offs.
7. Coordinate with Test Leads to determine edge case scenarios and customer handling.
8. Develop schedules for product development phases and monitor progress against targets.
9. Liaise with senior management to align on strategic objectives and gain budget approval.
10. Ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

1. Strong technical background with the ability to read source code.
2. Previous experience in product and software development, design, or digital marketing.
3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
4. Experience in multidisciplinary teams to meet strategic objectives.
5. Strong background in process and business operations.
6. At least 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with A/B testing and customer feedback analysis.
2. Familiarity with project management methodologies.
3. Ability to create and interpret wireframes and mock-ups.
4. Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
5. Experience in agile development environments.
