The Solutions Designer role is a senior position within the Technology & Operations group, responsible for the development and delivery of innovative products and services. This role involves managing a product design and development team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that products meet customer needs while aligning with strategic objectives. The Solutions Designer plays a critical role in bridging technology and customer experience, driving projects from concept to launch.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver new products and services, as well as improvements to existing offerings.
- Manage the product design and development team, creating processes to support their work.
- Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and representatives from marketing, finance, and quality assurance.
- Conduct research and analyze customer behavior to inform product development.
- Facilitate product specifications and user stories, defining customer experiences through mock-ups and wireframes.
- Work with Technology Leads to agree on architecture and present trade-offs.
- Coordinate with Test Leads to determine edge case scenarios and customer handling.
- Develop schedules for product development phases and monitor progress against targets.
- Liaise with senior management to align on strategic objectives and gain budget approval.
- Ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical background with the ability to read source code.
- Previous experience in product and software development, design, or digital marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in multidisciplinary teams to meet strategic objectives.
- Strong background in process and business operations.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with A/B testing and customer feedback analysis.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Ability to create and interpret wireframes and mock-ups.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Experience in agile development environments.
