We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance on-premise infrastructure solutions. This role will focus on network architecture, data center environments, and enterprise security, serving as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design comprehensive, scalable, and secure on-premise infrastructure solutions, including networking, security, data centers, compute, storage, virtualization, and physical appliances.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate hardware, software, and networking technologies to ensure optimal performance, resilience, and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and cost models for complex infrastructure and security projects.
- Review and analyze technical requirements (e.g., Terms of Reference or TOR), ensuring proposed solutions meet technical specifications, eligibility criteria, and existing customer environment constraints.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless deployment, integration, and secure operation of infrastructure solutions.
- Produce comprehensive documentation including network diagrams, security policies, and implementation guides for all proposed solutions.
- Contribute to the organizations technical thought leadership through presentations, whitepapers, and solution showcases.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing strategic and executive-level guidance on infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven pre-sales and/or hands-on experience in designing and implementing on-premise data center solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
- Strong expertise in network architecture and design, with in-depth knowledge of core protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, as well as switching, routing, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies.
- Solid understanding of network security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and Zero Trust principles, along with familiarity with security policies and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Demonstrated experience with on-premise infrastructure technologies, including:
- Compute: Rack servers and blade systems
- Storage: SAN, NAS, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)
- Virtualization: Platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Proficiency in developing comprehensive technical documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), network diagrams (e.g., Visio), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
