Job Description
1. Strategic Architecture Leadership
- Lead the development of enterprise-wide solution architecture strategy and roadmap.
- Translate business goals into technical vision and architecture blueprints.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies that align with business innovation.
2. Solution Design and Governance
- Oversee design of complex end-to-end solutions across systems, platforms, and applications.
- Review, approve, and govern architecture designs, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, security, and compliance.
- Serve as an escalation point for critical solutioning and integration issues.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with senior leadership, product owners, and business units to shape technology-enabled solutions.
- Facilitate architecture workshops and solution deep-dives with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams focused on business enabling, platform management, and solutions architecture.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to ensure seamless technology integration.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and process improvement.
5. Project & Delivery Oversight
- Support delivery teams with architectural guidance during development and implementation phases.
- Ensure architecture documentation, patterns, and diagrams are accurate and up-to-date.
- Drive technical risk management and support quality assurance processes.
6. Financial Management
- Opex/Capex Reporting
- Tracking of Budget
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in solution architecture and design.
Skills
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns (e.g. microservices, event driven etc.)
- Strong understanding in cloud technologies (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
- Knowledge of security principles, risk management, and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good team player and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
