Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, systems design, solution architecture, or enterprise technology leadership
- Strong hands-on Solutions Architect experience designing enterprise-grade, cloud-based, scalable, and integrated technology solutions
- Proven experience leading technical teams, guiding engineering decisions, reviewing solution designs, and influencing delivery outcomes
- Ability to translate complex business needs into practical technical solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, middleware, integrations, and complex data flows
- Exposure to AWS or Azure, including cloud architecture, scalability, performance, security, compliance, and cost optimization
- Strong understanding of system integration, enterprise architecture, risk management, solution governance, Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and technical decision-making skills
- Able to balance strategic architecture planning with hands-on technical depth and delivery-focused execution
- Stable career history with long-term ownership of complex technology initiatives is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into scalable and secure technical designs
- Define architecture blueprints, solution diagrams, and integration patterns
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools aligned with IT strategy
- Assess trade-offs between build vs buy and cloud vs on-premise vs hybrid approaches
- Define integration strategies across APIs, microservices, middleware, and data flows
- Ensure interoperability across systems, platforms, and third-party services
- Design reliable and high-performance system interactions and data flows
- Enforce adherence to architecture standards, security policies, and best practices
- Review solution designs and guide development teams on architectural direction
- Identify and mitigate architectural and technical risks
- Provide technical leadership across design, build, test, and deployment phases
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues
- Design cloud-native or cloud-optimized solutions ensuring scalability and resilience
- Produce architecture documentation including diagrams and decision records
- Communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Present architecture proposals and recommendations to leadership
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide architectural input during planning
- Align technical solutions with business priorities and delivery timelines
