Solutions Architect (Core Banking)

As a Solutions Architect (Core Banking), your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our clients IT landscape. You will be at the forefront of understanding, applying, and advocating for Enterprise Architecture principles, creating solution patterns that serve as a reference for reusability.

What youll do:

• Understand, apply and advocate Enterprise Architecture principles, patterns, standards and non-functional requirements
• Create and maintain solution patterns for reusability and standardisation
• Understand business drivers and capabilities to determine corresponding solution architecture or change requirements
• Recommend solutions and processes to improve operational efficiency based on gap analysis
• Perform continual assessment of current state solutions against target state solution
• Provide solution consultancy support to application and infrastructure owners within projects
• Present and seek approval of solution architecture from key stakeholders
• Ensure alignment between actual implementation and defined solution architecture
• Identify, escalate and manage technical risks and issues of the solution architecture
• Participate in evaluation and selection of software and technology standards

What you bring:

• At least 8 years of experience in IT software/services definition, build, and management
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Solution Architecture practice
• Understanding of solutions delivery lifecycle, agile methods and processes
• Proven capability to support project delivery teams by providing guidance on opportunities, impact, risks considering technical and architectural considerations
• Good understanding of strategic, new and emerging technology trends
• Good knowledge of application development, middleware, system integration, infrastructure, database management, data governance, security and IT operations
