Job Description: Solutions ArchitectJob Summary
The Solutions Architect is responsible for understanding clients business and technical requirements and translating them into secure, scalable, and cost-effective IT solutions. The role will support enterprise clients in industries such as energy, manufacturing, automotive, logistics, and other large-scale operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and assess the client's existing IT environment.
- Design end-to-end solutions covering cloud, servers, storage, networking, cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery, and managed IT services.
- Develop solution architecture, network diagrams, bills of materials, scopes of work, and implementation plans.
- Prepare and present technical proposals and solution recommendations to clients.
- Support the Sales team during client meetings, bidding, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations.
- Evaluate technologies and recommend suitable products, licenses, and services based on the client's requirements and budget.
- Coordinate with vendors, distributors, engineers, and project teams to validate technical designs, costs, and timelines.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, performance, scalability, availability, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance throughout implementation and assist in resolving design-related concerns.
- Maintain updated knowledge of new technologies, vendor products, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, systems engineering, or enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing, networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cybersecurity, and backup solutions.
- Experience designing solutions for enterprise or multi-site organizations.
- Proficient in preparing architecture diagrams, bills of materials, scopes of work, and technical proposals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Cisco, Fortinet, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, VMware, or similar technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications from Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Dell, or HPE are preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting clients in the energy, automotive, manufacturing, or logistics industries.
- Knowledge of enterprise security and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience handling complex infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, or digital transformation projects.
