Solution Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide pre-sales technical support for Sungrow photovoltaic inverters, energy storage systems, and related new energy products in the Philippine market;

2. Develop system design proposals, equipment selection, configuration calculations, and deliver comprehensive technical solutions based on client and project requirements;

3. Participate in technical discussions with clients, solution presentations, and tender processes; prepare and present technical proposals, solutions, and related documentation;

4. Collaborate with sales teams to advance project implementation, maintaining efficient communication with headquarters product, R&D, and technical support teams;

5. Respond to customer technical enquiries during the pre-sales phase, providing professional, accurate, and actionable technical advice;

6. Gather feedback on customer requirements and competitor intelligence based on local market and project experience to support continuous product and solution optimisation.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, New Energy, Automation or related fields;

2. Minimum 3 years experience in photovoltaics, energy storage or the power industry; preference given to candidates with pre-sales, technical support or system solution experience;

3. Thorough understanding of PV and energy storage system architecture, inverter principles, electrical design fundamentals, and grid connection standards;

4. Strong technical reasoning and communication skills, capable of independent technical discussions and solution presentations;

5. Proficiency in English as a working language (technical exchanges and solution presentations); overseas project or work experience preferred;
