Key Responsibilities:
The Planning Specialist is a consultant role responsible configuring and developing planning models to support business needs. This includes building, maintaining the customized model as well as configuring models from a base model. The role requires a solid grasp of finance, accounting and business rules and processes, translating them into effective model configurations. The Planning Specialist actively engages with stakeholders to understand requirements, validate business logic and support alignment of the solution with the model goals.
1. Strategic Leadership
- Provide active support to the Planning Solution Architects by providing inputs and analyzed insights based on discussions and learning from the model, the client and the business process.
- Actively implement guidelines, reminders and initiatives introduced by the ETS - RBI Director.
2. Service Operations
- Actively perform model analysis and process analysis in order to come up with a sound and stable approach to the building of the planning model.
- Complete trainings and when needed, certification requirements of the planning solution.
- Perform work within the agreed committed timelines.
3. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
- Actively support in establishing strong relationships with client stakeholders and business unit leaders.
- Actively engage with other Planning Specialists and Planning Solution Architects for exchange of ideas and understanding of the client business process.
4. People & Team Management
- Actively support the fostering of a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
- Actively participate in Solvento and/or RBI team engagement activities.
5. Pre-sales and Sales
- Participate and provide inputs (i.e. scope of work, estimated man-day effort, etc) during pre-sales and activities with clients and potential clients.
- Learn and understand the solution of the technology partner to identify where in the business process the solution will ideally fit.
- Represent Solvento / ETS during meetings with technology partners and clients.
6. Financial Management
- Perform timely update of billable hours.
7. Risk & Compliance
- Perform compliance with internal project controls including security policies.
- Manage risk by proactively raising foreseen circumstances that can affect delivery of committed work.
Qualifications
- Graduate of any Finance, Business or IT related course
- 2-3 years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis is a plus
- Experience in configuring and using planning solutions is a plus
- Knowledge in MS Excel
- Able to work on-site client premises (within Metro Manila)
