Location: Ayala, Makati City
Work Setup: Hybrid (2 Days Onsite / 3 Days Remote)
Schedule: Day Shift (with Flexible U.S. Time Zone Overlap for Collaboration)
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end IT solutions aligned with enterprise standards using Microsoft Azure services and SaaS platforms tailored to the oil and gas industry.
- Leverage existing architecture patterns and develop new patterns to improve enterprise architecture maturity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, solution designs, and technical documentation.
- Lead system and application integrations to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing solutions to identify improvement opportunities.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain modern and competitive solutions.
- Develop and present proof of concepts (POCs) to validate proposed architectures.
- Monitor and manage cloud service costs while optimizing cloud architecture performance.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies to support business continuity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
- 5+ years of prior experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure, including:
- Azure App Services
- Azure Functions
- Azure DevOps
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure SQL Database
- Experience applying the TOGAF framework for enterprise architecture development (TOGAF certification highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of architecture styles, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Ability to evaluate technology options and perform architecture trade-off analysis.
- Strong ability to analyze complex requirements and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Experience implementing security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Experience with data integration, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
- Experience with IoT solutions and edge computing.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
