Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions for BFSI clients. This role bridges business strategy and technology execution, driving digital transformation initiatives across cloud, application, and data platforms.
The Solution Architect will be responsible for shaping scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures, supporting both pre-sales and delivery phases, and ensuring alignment with client business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design & Architecture
- Design end-to-end solution architectures across application, cloud, integration, and data domains
- Define scalable, resilient, and secure architectures aligned with enterprise standards
- Drive adoption of modern architecture patterns (microservices, API-first, event-driven)
2. Digital Transformation & Modernization
- Lead modernization initiatives (legacy transformation, cloud migration, platform re-architecture)
- Recommend architecture strategies using cloud-native and automation approaches
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices (DevSecOps, CI/CD, platform engineering)
3. Client Engagement & Presales
- Engage clients to understand business requirements and translate into solution blueprints
- Support presales activities including solution proposal, effort estimation, and technical presentations
- Articulate business value, ROI, and technology roadmap to stakeholders
4. Delivery Leadership
- Provide technical leadership across project lifecycle (design → build → deploy)
- Work closely with delivery teams, vendors, and partners to ensure successful implementation
- Govern architecture compliance, quality, and risk management
5. Technology Strategy & Innovation
- Evaluate emerging technologies (Cloud, AI, Automation, Data platforms)
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within solution offerings
- Contribute to reusable assets, frameworks, and reference architectures
6. Governance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and enterprise architecture standards
- Maintain architecture documentation, design artifacts, and technical standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10-15+ years of experience in IT, with strong exposure to solution architecture
- Proven experience in BFSI industry (banking, insurance, financial services)
Technical Competencies:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Microservices and API architecture
- Integration platforms and middleware
- DevOps /DevSecOps practices
- Enterprise system design and distributed systems
Good understanding of:
- Data architecture and analytics platforms
- Cyber security and regulatory compliance (BFSI context)
- ITSM / ITIL practices
Preferred Certifications:
- TOGAF / Architecture frameworks
- Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure)
- PMP or equivalent
