JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Manager leads the execution of maintenance activities to ensure the company's solar PV systems operate safely, reliably, and at or above performance targets. This role holds accountability for portfolio-level system performance, adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), workforce productivity, and the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.

The Maintenance Manager oversees both preventive and corrective maintenance programs, ensuring timely response to issues and minimizing system downtime. Working closely with the AVP - Operations and Maintenance, Operations and Asset Management teams, the role ensures alignment between field execution, system monitoring insights, and performance objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (Summary)

  • Leads and develops the maintenance team while driving the overall maintenance strategy for the assigned portfolio. Ensures optimal manpower planning, preventive and corrective maintenance execution, and continuous improvement of processes.
  • Responsible for achieving system performance targets (Availability, PR, SLA), improving reliability, and reducing downtime through effective monitoring, RCA, and preventive actions.
  • Coordinates with Operations and Asset Management for reporting, prioritization, compliance, and cross-functional improvements.
  • Oversees field activities to ensure safety, QA/QC compliance, and proper execution of commissioning and technical works.
  • Supports resource and budget management, including manpower optimization, cost control, and inventory planning.
  • Reviews performance data, identifies recurring issues, and implements solutions to improve efficiency and system reliability.
  • Ensures full compliance with company policies, safety, and ethical standards while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and supporting overall operational needs.

What we're looking for:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer
  • 2–4 years of experience in system monitoring, operations control, maintenance coordination,or similar roles
  • Familiarity with monitoring platforms (e.g., SCADA, NMS, or similar systems)
  • Understanding of maintenance workflows and work order lifecycle
  • Ability to analyze performance data, trends, and anomalies
  • Good decision-making skills under time-sensitive conditions
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in handling multiple tasks.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage emergency site works.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
