Solar PV Engineer

Our company has one of the largest renewable energy development portfolios in Spain with more than 14,000MW and with an equally ambitious plan for international growth, where already have more than 10,000 MW in its portfolio in nine countries (inc. North and South America, Europe, and Asia).

Due to this rapid growth, we are now looking for a Solar PV Engineer for our office in Manila.

Reporting to the Business Development Director and integrated in the engineering team, the PV Engineer will provide local support for the projects developed in the Philippines.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Analyze new sites to see if there are any red flags or points of consideration.

Estimate site capacity.

Prepare preliminary layouts and SLDs.

Estimate energy production.

Support local development team preparing any technical document required for permits.

Perform site visits.

Support engineering team with local regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer in the Renewable Energy Industry, with extensive experience in utility scale projects.

Knowledge of permitting process for renewable power plants in the Philippines.

Software requirements: AutoCAD, PVSyst, PVDesign.
