Job Description
The Business Development Officer will help drive the growth of the solar business by developing ecosystem models that will optimize cost, drive customer acquisition while ensuring competitiveness to other players, scale up tested models by choosing the right partners, implement improved processes and capabilities, and close more customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop strategy and business growth plan for assigned area
- Handle end-to-end customer pipeline for Commercial and Industrial/Electric Cooperative customers
- Ensure project proposals provide the best technical solution at the right financial offer
- Lead in developing solar ecosystem models in the chosen area to check viability
- Find external partners and suppliers
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Technical, Legal, and Finance teams in delivering the projects

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Management or Engineering
- At least 2 years work experience in Sales or Business Development
- Preferably with experience in Finance or Modelling
- Ability to lead 2 to 3 direct reports
- Proven experience in working with a variety of stakeholders
