Job Description

Your Role

As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for validating the functionality and stability of our customs software solutions. You will work closely with developers and business analysts to understand complex use cases and ensure our systems meet the highest quality standards. A key part of your role will involve navigating and utilizing other core Kuehne+Nagel customs systems to support end-to-end testing scenarios.

How You Create Impact

  • Execute Test Scenarios: Design and execute manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality against business requirements.
  • System Integration: Actively use and interact with other core KN customs systems to set up data, trigger events, and support complex integration use cases.
  • Quality Assurance: Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution, ensuring that new features do not break existing functionality (regression testing).
  • Collaboration: Partner with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes, providing clear feedback and detailed error reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to testing processes and contribute to the automation of repetitive test tasks.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of test results and test data to ensure transparency and traceability.

  • Educational Background: A recent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Good understanding of the Java programming language (reading code, writing basic automation scripts, or debugging).

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn the complexities of international customs regulations and logistics processes.
