Software Licensing Specialist

YOUR IMPACT

This position is for a global Software Auditor and Inventory Analyst who will play a key role in the OpenTextCompliance Management Team. The compliance team is responsible for protecting Intellectual Property and contractual rights associated with software produced across all business lines.

The auditor plays a critical role in the overall license verification process. This individual will be responsible for collecting data, and creating complete, accurate and verifiable reports that reflect a customer's deployment of software. These reports are mission-critical, as they form the basis of the team's assessment of of license compliance.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

· Manage customer engagements during the data-collection and analysis process.

· Demonstrate a clear understanding of product licensing and customer contract terms.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

· 2- 5 years of software auditing experience, working with external customers, software asset management (SAM)

· Experience with third-party audit firms, including contract review and software licensing assessments (preferred).

· Understanding of technology and software license agreements.

· Familiar with standard software license agreements and common contract language.

· Ability to adapt to different customer environments and cultural contexts during global audits.
