Software Engineering - Principal Engineer

Key Deliverables:

1. Lead a team of engineers to create next-generation analytic decisioning platform for FICO's software decision capabilities.
2. Provide technical direction on high-volume, low-latency execution and ensure scalability and reliability of platform components.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and architects to define the architecture and business requirements.
4. Coach and mentor engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and guiding them through design and development.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Lead the technical development and design of the software platform with a focus on simplicity, modern patterns, and cloud environments.
2. Utilize domain-driven, event-driven, and microservice architectures to create scalable, maintainable solutions.
3. Support production deployments, collaborate with QA engineers to design non-functional tests, and ensure software platform performance.
4. Work across public cloud, private cloud, and on-premise deployments to provide solutions that align with FICO's business needs.
