As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and resolving complex issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires continuous monitoring and analysis to ensure system stability and performance. The position involves collaborating with different teams to maintain seamless operations and delivering timely solutions to minimize business disruptions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
- Mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Develop and implement best practices to improve support processes and system reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in SAP EWM.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes and integration with enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues within SAP Extended Warehouse Management modules.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques.
- Ability to analyze system logs and identify root causes of technical problems.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Must have and Good to have skills:
-EWM technical skills to support complex EWM issues, provide permanent fixes and work on EWM enhancements and projects
