About the Role
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Information Systems team. You'll work across full-stack development, systems integration, and internal tooling, taking ownership of features end-to-end and contributing to technical decisions along the way. This role suits an engineer with a few years of hands-on experience who can work independently, occasionally guide junior teammates.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain features across front-end (React) and back-end (PHP/Laravel or similar) applications with minimal supervision
- Contribute to the design of internal tools, dashboards, and automation workflows
- Implement and maintain APIs and third-party integrations (billing systems, ticketing, messaging, identity verification, etc.)
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code and actively participate in code reviews
- Use AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot) effectively as part of your daily workflow, and help share best practices with the team
- Debug and troubleshoot moderately complex issues across the stack, including with the help of AI tools where appropriate
- Provide guidance and code review feedback to junior engineers
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience
- Solid, hands-on experience in at least one back-end language (PHP with Laravel, JavaScript/Node, or similar) and one front-end framework (React preferred)
- Good understanding of REST APIs and experience integrating third-party systems
- Practical experience using AI coding tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) for coding, debugging, or documentation
- Comfortable with Git and standard version control workflows, including branching and code review processes
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on well-scoped tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across product, QA, and other engineering teams
- Experience with working in AI-assisted IDEs like Cursor for codebase navigation and refactoring and workflow automation tools is a plus
- This role is based in Malolos, Bulacan.
