The Qualifications We Seek
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, or system support
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing, scripting, and system development
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking)
- Experience working with YAML for configuration and deployment pipelines
- Practical experience using Docker for containerization and environment management
- Strong background in relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) with performance tuning and optimization experience
- Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills across applications and databases
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices is an advantage
- Knowledge of API integrations, microservices architecture, and related security models is an advantage
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and data protection standards is an advantage
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or other regulated environments is an advantage
- Azure certifications are preferred but not required
- Exposure to TypeScript and Reactis preferred
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Support and continuously improve applications and systems to ensure stability and performance
- Diagnose and resolve application and database issues in line with availability, incident response, and MTTR SLAs
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
- Enhance database efficiency, integrity, and protection through optimization and best practices
- Deploy updates, patches, and enhancements while maintaining high change success and quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and technical procedures for knowledge continuity
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technical solutions aligned with business needs
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to stakeholders across the organization
- Support audits, security assessments, and compliance activities to meet required standards
- Contribute to disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity readiness
