Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud-based Software Development Team. As a senior technical leader, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and guiding the evolution of M3 Graphical Tracker (GLT) software solutions. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the delivery of scalable and maintainable software that meets business and customer needs.
What You Will Need
Required Skills:
* Solid expertise in front-end development (typically 6+ years), with mastery of Angular, to advance team or business objectives
* Strong proficiency and deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
* Extensive experience in automated unit testing and test-driven development methodologies
* Proficient in Git and advanced version control workflows across distributed teams
* Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile software development processes and best practices
* Excellent technical communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, mentor others, and lead technical discussions
What Will Put You Ahead
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong working knowledge of SQL, particularly MS SQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing database interactions
* Experience with Java backend or integration services to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
* Familiarity with ERP solutions such as Infor M3 or similar enterprise software platforms
* Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma) and end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Cypress), with ability to set testing strategies
* Proven track record of contributing to architectural decisions and improving software development processes
* Understanding of CI/CD principles, including automation of build, testing, and deployment workflows to support efficient and reliable software delivery
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
* Leading the design, development, and maintenance of Angular applications, ensuring the software system is scalable, maintainable, and secure
* Making high-level architectural decisions and setting technical standards and best practices for the project and team
* Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews and sharing knowledge
* Proactively identifying technical risks and challenges, devising mitigation strategies to ensure project success
* Collaborating with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features aligned with business objectives
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives for the development process, tools, and overall software quality
* Staying up to date with emerging trends, tools, and technologies to recommend and adopt innovations that add value to the product
* Supporting and influencing the long-term software vision and roadmap
