Software Engineer (Contract)

We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Software Engineer who will help build, improve, and maintain our core product ecosystem. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across backend services, AI integrations, and modern web technologies. This role will work closely with product, design, and AI teams to ship high quality, scalable features.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot

Design, query, and manage relational databases using PostgreSQL

Integrate AI models, APIs, and automation workflows into core product features

Collaborate with product managers and designers to define technical requirements

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

Troubleshoot, monitor, and improve application performance

Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering documentation

Stay updated on current technologies and propose improvements to the tech stack

Minimum Qualifications

1 to 4 years experience in software development

Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot framework

Experience using PostgreSQL in production environments

Demonstrated experience working on AI integration projects (OpenAI, LLM APIs, etc.)

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and authentication standards

Solid understanding of Git workflows and version control
