Software Engineer (C++, Embedded system) Automation - VTTO

Our client is a leading provider of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and advanced automation solutions. They are now recruiting a Software Engineer (R&D) to support product development and innovation initiatives. They are located in the North - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications for advanced industrial automation and manufacturing equipment.

• Design and implement control software, data acquisition modules, and equipment interface functionalities.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate software with mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

• Conduct software validation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and system enhancements.

• Prepare technical documentation while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience in software development within manufacturing, industrial automation, or high-tech engineering environments is preferred.

• Proficient in C++ programming for application, embedded, or automation software development.

• Knowledge of embedded systems, motion control, machine interface, or industrial communication protocols is advantageous.

• Exposure to AI, machine learning, computer vision, or data analytics applications will be an added advantage.
