Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Excellence & Innovation

  • Develop scalable, reliable, high-quality solutions through clean code and technical collaboration.
  • Stay updated on technology trends and apply sound engineering principles.
  • Help manage system health and technical debt.
  • Improve engineering efficiency by automating repetitive tasks and applying best practices.
  • Work with senior engineers to improve processes and systems.

Collaboration

  • Build strong understanding of the product and business domain.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to align solutions with business and customer needs.

Operations

  • Participate in on-call support and incident response.
  • Improve development processes and code quality to reduce incidents.
  • Maintain, update, and patch systems when required.

Experience:

  • Building scalable software and customer-facing web applications.
  • Working with Senior Engineers/Tech Leads to improve engineering practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile.
  • Collaboration in cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Tech).
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and relational/non-relational databases.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language/tech stack.
  • Knowledge of shift-left testing, TDD/BDD, and Domain-Driven Design.
  • Familiarity with functional & OOP, cloud design patterns, APIs and messaging systems.
  • Understanding of application security (OWASP) and modern data persistence models.

Education & Certifications

  • Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.
  • Bonus: AWS or other cloud certification.

Tech Stack / Preferred:

  • C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, with familiarity in TypeScript and React.js.
  • Experience with distributed cloud applications.
  • Node.js knowledge is a plus.
  • Exposure to modernization projects (monolith to modular/service-oriented systems).
