Job Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
· At least 5+ years of experience in application or production support
· Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
· Strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience supporting distributed systems
· Proficiency in backend frameworks, especially Java/Spring Boot, Python, and JavaScript-based backend services
· Experience working with Azure, GCP/UDP, BigQuery, and Databricks
· Strong RDBMS experience with MS SQL and DB2
· Excellent communication skills for coordinating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
· Self-driven, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team
· Willing to work in a 24×7 support structure (on-call, weekends, holidays as needed)
· Comfortable working in fast-paced, support-oriented environments with shifting priorities
· Strong time-management and customer-service orientation
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide end-to-end support for backend systems, APIs, and integrations built using Java, Python, Spring Boot, and cloud-native components
· Diagnose and resolve incidents, perform minor enhancements, and implement permanent fixes
· Support cloud-hosted solutions using Azure, GCP/UDP, BigQuery, and Databricks
· Work with relational databases including MS SQL and DB2
· Maintain documentation and proactively update the knowledge base
· Monitor incidents and ensure SLA compliance, escalating issues when required
· Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for complex incident resolution
· Execute ad hoc tasks, health checks, and proactive monitoring activities
· Conduct root-cause analysis and actively participate in continuous-improvement efforts
· Provide consultation on escalation matrices, issue handling, and process changes
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders using email, chat, or conference calls
· Assist in testing, design, and implementation activities based on business needs
· Take on functional tasks, and potentially oversee a functional area or participate in projects as a Designer, Tester, or Implementer
· Mentor and upskill team members on integration tools, technologies, and best practices to accelerate the team's overall competency and reduce knowledge gaps
· Adapt to changing priorities and support requests as needed
