Description
An Associate Software engineer will participate in product development deliveries as well as support activities. This position is tasked but not limited to - code development, testing and deployment.
A Typical Day In The Life Includes
- Fixes any reported bugs while complying with the SDLC processes and coding standards.
- Creates/codes based on requirements/design and tickets
- Performs maintenance and enhancement of existing product modules.
- Conducts technical analysis, root cause analysis and other standard processes in the SDLC.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or similar in software engineering, information technology, or computer science
- 1 year relevant professional experience in Java programming language
- Understanding of OOP concepts
- Experience in mobile or web applications programming
- Comfortable in using Integrated Development Environment (i.e. Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.)
- Ability to develop and interpret technical plans/designs
Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and self-reliant attitude
- Amenable to work 3x a week onsite in BGC
Preferred Qualifications
- With experience in mobile developement
- Experience or familiarity in AWS is a plus
- Experience in ERP Systems is a plus
- Some RDBMS experience is a plus
