Description
This role is an entry-level developer position supporting the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) product used by external sales representatives across manufacturing and dealership organizations. The position plays a critical role in accelerating product development and helping the team meet release timelines by contributing to feature development, defect resolution, and testing activities. As part of a highly collaborative development team, this role will directly impact the delivery pace of key product enhancements and help ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise quoting and configuration solutions.
A Typical Day In The Life Includes
- Developing new product features from assigned backlogs and contributing to ongoing product enhancements
- Fixing bugs and resolving reported defects identified during development and testing cycles
- Performing unit and component testing to validate code quality and functionality
- Demonstrating completed work items to team members and stakeholders during review sessions
- Collaborating with developers through pair programming to address dependencies and shared tasks
- Participating in team onboarding, learning sessions, and hands-on exercises to build product knowledge
- Supporting backlog refinement and sprint activities alongside cross-functional teammates
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL, C#, and object-oriented programming concepts
- Familiarity with software development principles and lifecycle processes
- Exposure to unit testing or basic software testing methodologies
- Ability to understand and work with development backlogs and assigned work items
- Basic experience using development tools or programming environments
- Willingness to work in a hybrid setup with onsite presence three times per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Amazon Q
- Familiarity with integration testing concepts
- Experience working with proprietary or enterprise development platforms
- Understanding of manufacturing or enterprise software products
- Exposure to collaborative development practices such as pair programming
