Software Engineer (Android Developer)

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with a team of developers and UI/UX designers to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.

- Develop new user-facing features, enhancements, and bug fixes using Kotlin/Java

- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of Android devices

Qualifications:

- Experience in Scrum/Agile is preferred

- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and respond in a timely manner

- Experience in working with development teams

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

- Must have a background on how backend, web, and mobile apps are developed

- In-depth knowledge of Kotlin/Java

- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

- Familiarity with CI/CD, Fastlane, and Firebase App Distribution is preferred

- Thorough understanding of Android and its core principles

- Familiarity with different architectures such as MVC, MVP, and MVVM

- Experience in calling RESTful APIs and working with a team of backend developers, mobile developers, web developers, and UI/UX designers is preferred

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
