Software Development Engineer (Java)

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work.

MUST have skills:

·      Strong proficiency in Enterprise Java and related backend framework (Spring, Hibernate, JPA etc).

·      Experience with enterprise DBMS solutions, preferably IBM DB2.

·      Familiar with JSP & JSF.

·      Familiar with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

·      Familiar with frontend UI development, particularly with React and Typescript.

·      Familiar with Figma.

Responsibilities:

·      Read legacy JSP UI and java codes to extract business rules and design APIs required to invoke existing Java methods.

·      Document down the specifications of the API such as request and response schema, and mapping of the variables from the payloads to the UI fields, and where the APIs will be invoked from the UI to the SRS/SDS document.

·      Work with BA on finalizing the design with Client.

·      Build the APIs and JUnit based on the documented design.

·      Work with BA and React developers to support defect fixes.
