Software Developer

The Role

We are seeking a Software Developer to joinour growing IT Service Delivery team at IPH Limited in Manila.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about full-stack development, automation, and database integrations. You will work locally in Manila while collaborating with our global IT team, contributing to building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications used across multiple countries.

Reporting into the Director of IT Solutions and Delivery (CAN), the Software Developer, will take a hands-on role in designing, developing, and supporting applications, dashboards, and automation solutions that help drive business efficiency. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and have the opportunity to grow your technical expertise across the latest Microsoft and Azure technologies.

We are looking for someone detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ready to deliver results, with the ability to translate business needs into high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement web-based applications, automation tools, and dashboards.
• Gather requirements, select frameworks, create blueprints, and deploy solutions to end users.
• Manage 2nd and 3rd level support tickets related to applications, databases, and scripts.
• Troubleshoot production issues and deliver sustainable solutions quickly.
• Monitor systems and databases, implement updates, patches, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with colleagues for handovers and cross-training to reduce single points of failure.
• Support deployments, maintenance, and emergency fixes outside normal working hours when needed.
• Translate client requirements into functional application features and technical specifications.
• Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing, debug applications, and evaluate existing systems for updates or new features.
• Produce accurate technical documentation and manuals.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Follow SDLC principles and change management procedures.
• Stay current with IT security best practices to protect systems and applications.
• Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a full-stack .NET environment.
• Strong experience with SQL databases, integration layers, and ETL technologies.
• Hands-on experience with: MS PowerApps, Power Automate, MS Graph API, Azure Web Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Functions, MS Fabric/Power BI.
• Strong understanding of web design, programming concepts, SDLC, and platform management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
