We wish to inform you that DSWD Field Office VII has the below vacant permanent position:

1. One (1) slot for SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER V


Status of Employment : Permanent

Division/Program : Protective Services Division

Salary Grade : SG 24 (Php 102, 603.00)

No. of Slot(s) Available : One (1)

CSC Minimum Qualification Standards:

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Social Work

Training : Forty (40) hours of relevant training

Experience : Four (4) years of relevant experience

Eligibility : RA 1080 (Registered Social Worker)


Preferred Qualification Standards:

Education : Preferably with Master's degree in Social Work

Training : At least forty (40) hours training in case management andsupervisory/leadership training

Experience : Four (4) years in supervising case management and implementation of programs along social protection and development

Eligibility : RA 1080 (Registered Social Worker)


Primary Tasks:

1. Oversees over-all center/program operation and social welfare program implementation

2. Supervises case management of wards/clientele and work out social intervention for local and out country legal adoption of wards

3. Finalizes work program for the division

4. Executes policies and program standards

5. Supervises section/unit/center heads on administrative and program concerns

6. Evaluates and submits reports for the division

7. Recommends policy for development and research

8. Renders technical assistance relative to program implementation, networking management

9. Innovates strategies to enhance technical assistance monitoring and advocacy efforts

10. Taps and mobilizes community resources

11. Links with devolved social workers and LGUs for children welfare referrals

12. Coordinates matching committee conferences with adoptive parents

13. Collaborates with academe thru provisions of social work laboratory setting for social work students on field placement

14. Submits periodic and special reports

15. Attends staff meetings, seminars, conferences and performs other related tasks assigned.
