The Opportunity
We're hiring a Social Media Video Producer & Manager to join one of the largest creator-led parenting brands on Instagram — a high-growth, audience-first digital media brand with over 3 million followers — and own the day-to-day visual content assembly that keeps the feed fresh, engaging, and performing. This is a fast-moving, hands-on, behind-the-scenes production role where you'll work directly with the leadership team to transform existing assets — podcast clips, written content, raw video, and audience testimonials — into polished, high-performing daily content; you'll operate in two modes depending on the day: executing precise instructions flawlessly or proactively surfacing 3–5 trend-informed creative options when given a vague concept, all managed inside Asana with fast feedback loops via comments, texts, and voice notes.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Content Pipeline Management: Produce at least one final, high-quality visual asset (Reel, Carousel, or similar) daily to build a ready-to-go content repository, ensuring leadership always has fresh, polished options to choose from.
- Reel Assembly & Video Editing: Take raw clips and assemble thumb-stopping, mobile-first Reels using InShot and CapCut, applying an expert eye for pacing, text overlays, hooks, and trending audio.
- Graphic Design: Design engaging carousel-style educational posts and Story graphics in Canva that match the brand's visual identity and resonate with the audience.
- Asset Repurposing: Continuously review analytics to identify top-performing content, then spin past posts, Q&As, and testimonials into new, trend-relevant formats that extend their reach.
- Community Management: Monitor and thoughtfully respond to audience comments, serving as the brand's authentic voice across all Instagram touchpoints.
- Revenue & Link Management: Maintain strict organization of revenue-driving links — keeping ShopMy, Linktree, Amazon storefronts, and sponsored campaign details consistently up to date across all content.
What You Bring
- Proven Short-Form Video Experience: 3+ years managing and producing short-form video content for creator brands or high-volume digital accounts, with a portfolio of Reels or Stories produced for US brands, influencers, or public figures.
- Elite Visual Toolset: High proficiency in Canva, InShot, and CapCut, with a superpower in visual storytelling, pacing, and mobile-first video editing.
- Trend & Algorithm Fluency: Deep, current understanding of Instagram algorithms, trending audio and visual formats, and internet culture — you stay ahead of the curve, not behind it.
- Extreme Organization: Ability to independently manage a high-volume content pipeline with strict deadlines and fast turnarounds, with full comfort operating inside Asana and receiving feedback via comments, texts, and voice notes.
- Adaptability & Low Ego: Equally comfortable executing precise, step-by-step instructions flawlessly and proactively generating 3–5 creative options from a vague brief — you shift modes without friction.
