Social Media Specialist

Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for a Social Media Specialist who can work with us full-time and on-site!

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Smartsourcing's social media strategy. This role will focus on creating engaging content, growing brand awareness, fostering an online community, and driving measurable results that align with overall marketing objectives.

Some of the things we expect you to do are to:

• Develop and execute a content calendar across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) aligned with Smartsourcing's brand voice and target audience
• Craft compelling and informative content, including text posts, images, and videos, to capture user attention and encourage engagement
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends and adapt content strategies to leverage emerging opportunities
• Proactively manage and moderate social media comments, messages, and reviews, fostering a positive and responsive online community
• Encourage social interaction by responding to comments and questions in a timely and professional manner
• Implement strategies to increase brand mentions, shares, and follower growth
• Track and analyze key social media metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, impressions, clicks) to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
• Regularly generate reports to communicate social media performance to stakeholders and demonstrate the return on investment (ROI) of social media efforts
• Utilize data insights to refine content strategy and optimize social media campaigns for better results
  
  

Requirements


We would need you to be or have the following:

• In-depth understanding of major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and their functionalities, including algorithms, content formats, and advertising options
• Knowledge of social media marketing best practices, including content strategy, community management, social listening, and influencer marketing
• Experience in creating engaging content for social media, including writing, graphic design, and video editing
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to measure performance and identify trends
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and how social media fits into the overall marketing strategy
• Understanding of social media advertising options (e.g., pay-per-click, boosted posts) and basic media buying concepts like bidding strategies, targeting parameters, and budget allocation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling content and interact with followers effectively
• Ability to develop original and engaging content ideas that resonate with the target audience
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple social media platforms and meet deadlines consistently
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot social media issues and find solutions to improve performance
• Proficiency in social media scheduling tools and basic graphic design software
