About The Role

Kennemer is a Philippine-based agribusiness operating across agriculture, microfinance, and

environmental protection in Mindanao. We work directly with smallholder farmers, rural entrepreneurs, Indigenous People and our ability to reach and connect with these communities depends on how well we communicate with them.

We are looking for a Social Media Officer to own our digital presence across multiple programs. This person will manage the full cycle: coordinating with field teams to identify

compelling stories, developing those into targeted content and campaigns, executing across platforms, and tracking results against program goals.

Our programs ask people to make meaningful decisions adopting new farming practices, accessing financing, or joining a value chain for the first time. Effective social media for Kennemer is not only about brand visibility; it is about reaching the right people with the right message at the right time, so they choose to work with us.

What You Will Do

Content Development

Coordinate with field teams across program areas to identify stories and material worth publishing

Transform field inputs into polished content posts, short videos, and campaign assets calibrated to each audience and program objective

Produce short-form video content in coordination with field staff, including filming and basic editing

Write copy in Bisaya, Tagalog, and English, adjusting tone and register for each audience

Campaign Planning and Execution

Develop and maintain quarterly content calendars across multiple programs, aligned to recruitment and engagement targets

Design campaign logic around audience motivation: what this audience needs to see and hear to move from awareness to action

Execute geo-targeted campaigns via Meta Business Suite, managing post boosting, audience segmentation, and ad spend within approved budgets

Set up and manage Messenger flows to route community inquiries to the correct program staff

Manage content and campaigns across all social media channels including Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, adapting format and tone to each platform and audience

Performance and Reporting

Maintain weekly performance scorecards covering reach, engagement, inquiries, and recruitment outcomes per program

Report to the Communications Manager on campaign performance with clear recommendations

Coordinate with program teams to measure how social media activity converts to on-the-ground results

What You Bring

Experience and Skills

25 years of hands-on social media campaign management, in-house or agency

Demonstrated proficiency in Meta Business Suite: page management, geo-targeted advertising, audience segmentation, Messenger, and analytics

Experience running campaigns oriented toward program participation or community recruitment, not only product or brand marketing

Proven ability to coordinate content gathering from non-marketing colleagues and produce quality output from imperfect inputs

Competence in basis mobile photography & in short-form video production

Experience in Capcut and Canva is anadvantage

Mindset & Approach

Thinks in terms of audience motivation and decision-making, not just reach and engagement metrics

Takes full ownership of deliverables the content calendar, campaign performance, and reporting are yours to manage

Practical and adaptable; able to produce quality work within the constraints of field-based content gathering

Familiar with the communities and operating environment of Mindanao

Languages

Bisaya, Tagalog, and English written and spoken proficiency required
