About The Role
The client is seeking a proactive Social Media Manager to own and grow the brand's presence across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook by executing organic content strategies, managing the visual asset pipeline, and repurposing short-form video content.
This role will lead influencer strategy by identifying and coordinating with UK-based creators while driving growth through gifting, affiliate initiatives, and optimized TikTok and Meta paid ad campaigns. Ultimately, the ideal candidate will utilize data-driven insights and KPI tracking to continually refine campaign performance, boost engagement, and maximize sales impact.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced e-commerce/product environment and enjoys turning creative ideas into measurable growth
Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Organic Growth
- Manage and grow the company's social media presence across key platforms: Tiktok, Instagram & Facebook
- Plan and schedule content aligned with product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Monitor trends, stay up-to-date with evolving platform algorithms (including deep backend operations on TikTok), and adapt content strategies to maintain relevance.
Content Creation, Editing & Repurposing
- Handles the visual asset pipeline, ensuring content is optimized for various platform formats while maintaining brand identity.
- Edit and repurpose influencer-generated and in-house content into short-form videos, reels, ads, and promotional creatives.
- Ensure consistent brand tone, visual identity, and messaging across all channels.
Influencer Strategy & Engagement
- Identify, vet, and outreach to UK-based influencers aligned with the brand's target audience.
- Build and manage influencer relationships, negotiations, and campaign coordination.
- Track influencer performance and optimize partnerships based on engagement and ROI.
- Develop gifting, affiliate, and partnership initiatives to increase brand visibility and sales.
Paid Social & Campaign Management
- Run and manage advertising campaigns on TikTok and support the setup, testing, and optimization of paid social campaigns (primarily Tiktok platforms).
- Actively monitor and optimize campaigns to drive sales, using performance data to make real-time improvements.
Performance Tracking, Analytics & Reporting
- Track social, campaign, and influencer KPIs including engagement, reach, conversions, sales impact, and ROI.
- Analyze which specific videos, campaigns, and partnerships perform well.
- Provide regular reports and insights on a weekly or monthly basis to improve overall strategy and campaign performance.
Competencies And Qualifications
Must-Have
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in social media marketing, influencer outreach and management, partnerships, and campaign coordination
- Experience within e-commerce or consumer product brands is highly preferred
- TikTok Expertise is a must: Deep knowledge of TikTok algorithms, affiliate marketing (TikTok Shop), and a proven track record of running and optimizing TikTok Ads to drive sales.
- Experience tracking and and analyze campaign metrics
- Strong video and image editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva) with experience repurposing content into high-performing short-form formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook growth strategies.
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and basic paid social campaign setup.
- Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate and build influencer relationships.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance metrics and optimise accordingly.

- Experience working with UK-based brands or targeting UK audiences.
- Background in home improvement, DIY, cleaning, or garden product industries.
- Experience managing affiliate or ambassador programs.
- Hands-on experience scaling paid social campaigns for e-commerce brands.
- Basic knowledge of UGC strategy and conversion-focused content frameworks.
- Experience with Shopify or e-commerce analytics tools.
