Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to manage and grow our brand's presence across digital platforms. This role will be responsible for planning and executing social media content, engaging with online communities, and analyzing performance to improve reach and engagement. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and knowledgeable about social media trends and platform best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish content across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with marketing and campaign objectives.
- Create basic graphics and short-form video content for social media using accessible design and editing tools.
- Monitor social media channels and actively engage with audiences through comments, messages, and community interactions.
- Track and analyze performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and growth, and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging formats to keep content relevant and competitive.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, creative, partnerships) to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and campaign goals.
- Assist in managing collaborations with creators, partners, and influencers when required.
- Ensure all published content adheres to brand guidelines and platform best practices.
Qualifications
- 12 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, agency, or organization.
- Basic skills in graphic design and short-form video editing for social media.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools and reporting.
- Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content and trends.
