Social Media Manager Role
Job Overview:
The
Social Media Manager will guide and manage all social media platforms to drive rapid business growth for clients sporting goods brands. Reporting to the CEO, this role leads strategy, oversees execution, and ensures all social media activities are aligned with setting business campaign goals or objectives and ensuring content aligns with broader marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to accelerate brand awareness, engagement, and sales growth across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) for clients.
- Guide and manage Social Media Associates in daily posting, content creation, and monitoring to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align social media content with clients campaigns and business goals.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and user-generated content to identify opportunities for quick wins and innovative engagement.
- Respond to audience interactions when needed, maintaining professionalism and brand voice.
- Analyze performance metrics to track growth, optimize strategies, and report results to senior management and clients.
- Stay updated on emerging social media tools, trends, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree is an advantage
- Proven experience managing social media accounts with demonstrated business growth results.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and growth tactics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Google Analytics etc).
- Knowledge of graphic design tools is a plus.
- Experience working with Best Buy platforms is a plus.
Must provide a portfolio of previous social media campaigns or accounts managed.
