Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic and performance-driven Social Media Content Strategist / Manager who will own the thinking layer behind our content.

This role goes far beyond posting or scripting. You will be responsible for planning, strategizing, and directing content that drives brand growth, audience engagement, and business results.

You will bridge marketing strategy and creative execution, translating business goals into a structured content strategy while guiding the creative team in producing high-performing content.

The ideal candidate understands content strategy, storytelling, audience psychology, and social media growth, and can use data and insights to continuously optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning

Develop and manage a structured content strategy aligned with brand positioning, audience needs, and marketing goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating monthly and quarterly content strategies

  • Building and maintaining structured content calendars

  • Defining content pillars and messaging frameworks

  • Aligning content with marketing campaigns, launches, and business priorities

  • Ensuring consistent messaging across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)

2. Social Media Growth Strategy

Design strategies that increase audience reach, authority, and engagement across social platforms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating platform-specific growth strategies

  • Identifying content formats that drive reach and engagement

  • Developing viral hooks and storytelling frameworks

  • Conducting competitor and industry research

  • Identifying opportunities to expand audience reach and authority

3. Content Ideation & Topic Development

Generate strategic content ideas designed to educate, attract, and convert the target audience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting weekly and monthly content topics

  • Developing content series concepts

  • Identifying high-value educational topics

  • Creating content themes aligned with marketing goals

  • Researching audience pain points and frequently asked questions

4. Scriptwriting & Content Structuring

Write clear, engaging scripts designed for high retention and authority positioning.

Responsibilities include:

  • Writing scripts for short-form and long-form videos

  • Structuring content using proven frameworks (Hook Insight Authority CTA)

  • Crafting compelling opening hooks

  • Ensuring scripts are optimized for viewer retention and clarity

5. Creative Direction & Production Briefing

Provide direction to the creative team to ensure content execution aligns with strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating clear creative briefs for video editors and designers

  • Outlining visual storytelling, pacing, and editing direction

  • Providing thumbnail concepts and visual hooks

  • Ensuring creatives understand the objective behind each piece of content

6. Performance Analysis & Optimization

Track content performance and refine strategies to improve results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring engagement, reach, and conversion metrics

  • Identifying top-performing content formats

  • Recommending improvements based on data insights

  • Running content experiments and A/B testing

7. Cross-Team Collaboration

Act as the strategic bridge between marketing leadership and the creative team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with video editors, designers, and marketing leads

  • Ensuring content aligns with brand voice and messaging

  • Maintaining clarity on content priorities, timelines, and deadlines

Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience in social media strategy or content strategy

  • Strong understanding of content marketing and audience growth

  • Excellent scriptwriting and storytelling skills

  • Ability to analyze content performance and optimize strategy

  • Experience working with creative teams (editors, designers, producers)
