Job Description

We're looking for a freelance creative who knows their way around social, isn't afraid of a little personality, and can keep our content engine running without dropping the vibe. This role supports VIDA's social-first strategy across platforms and works closely with our in-house team to keep things sharp, timely, and on-brand.

What You'll Do

Content Scheduling & Publishing

  • Plan, schedule, and upload content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
  • Maintain platform-specific formatting, tagging, and optimization

Community Management

  • Monitor comments, DMs, and tagged content
  • Respond promptly in VIDA's brand voice
  • Escalate issues, member concerns, or opportunities to the internal team
  • Identify engagement opportunities and trend moments to jump on

Copywriting With Personality

  • Write captions that sound human: sharp, warm, slightly cheeky, never cheesy
  • Tailor tone for each brand under the VIDA umbrella (VIDA, SweatBox, VIDA Pilates, Penthouse, Aura spa & Bang Salon)
  • Suggest hooks, headline options, and alt text when needed

Light Video Editing

  • Convert organic Reels into paid-ready ads (tightening pacing, trimming timing, updating text overlays, simplifying visuals)
  • Perform basic editing using our content library to produce short-form assets
  • Resize, reformat, and export for all placements (IG Reels, TikTok, Meta Ads Manager, 9:16/1:1/16:9)
  • Add on-brand text, captions/subtitles, and end cards as needed

Content Library Support

  • Pull, organize, and tag assets from our library
  • Track what's performing well and flag content worth repurposing
  • Help identify gaps we should shoot for future campaigns

What You Bring
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts (bonus if you've handled fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands)
  • Strong copywriting instincts and the ability to write in distinct voices
  • Proficiency with basic video editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar)
  • Comfort working with high-volume content calendars and short turnaround times
  • Excellent communication skills and an eye for what trends actually matter
  • Ability to work independently but stay aligned with an in-house brand team

Project Structure & Expectations

  • Freelance, part-time, ongoing support
  • Weekly and monthly deliverables based on the content calendar
  • Must be available for quick turnarounds during campaign periods (Black Friday, membership pushes, new openings, etc.)
  • Collaboration via Asana, Sprout, and shared drives (primarily Dropbox)
