Social Media Content Creator

We are looking for a creative and dependable Social Media and Marketing Virtual Assistant to help build our brand's social media presence from the ground up. You will turn our content ideas into engaging short-form videos and posts, publish them consistently, and keep our online community engaged. The ideal candidate can take a creative direction and run with it, and brings a thoughtful approach to health and wellness content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create short-form videos, reels, and graphic posts based on the content direction and ideas provided
• Edit raw photos and videos into polished, on-brand social media content
• Design thumbnails, cover images, and visual assets that match our brand style
• Schedule and publish content consistently across our social media platforms
• Write clear, engaging captions and relevant hashtags for each post
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages to build community engagement
• Help organize incoming inquiries and leads from social media and the website
• Track basic content performance and suggest improvements to grow reach
• Maintain an organized content calendar and library of published assets

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• Proficiency in design and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar
• Experience managing and posting to business social media accounts
• Strong visual sense for layout, color, and brand consistency
• Excellent written English for captions and audience replies
• Ability to follow a creative brief and turn ideas into finished content
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness to feedback

Preferred Skills:

• Experience creating content in the health and wellness space
• Experience building a social media presence from scratch for a new or small brand
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite or similar
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics and engagement strategy
• Experience handling lead follow-ups or inquiry management
• Sensitivity and professionalism when handling wellness-related topics
