Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule B2B-focused social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to align content with sales objectives, campaigns, and target accounts
  • Repurpose sales collateral, case studies, whitepapers, and client testimonials into engaging social assets
  • Manage and maintain the content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule
  • Monitor post performance and compile weekly and monthly engagement reports with insights
  • Stay current on B2B content trends, industry news, and competitor activity
  • Assist in growing follower count and engagement within target industries and buyer personas
  • Support lead generation efforts through strategic content amplification and community engagement

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience creating B2B social media content (internship, freelance, or portfolio projects accepted)
  • Strong written communication skills with a clear understanding of professional, business-facing tone and voice
  • Proficiency in basic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Express for creating visually engaging posts
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of content funnels and how social media content supports sales and business goals
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple content calendars and deadlines simultaneously
  • Self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LinkedIn content strategy and company page management
  • Basic video editing skills for short-form content (Reels, LinkedIn video, YouTube Shorts)
  • Exposure to CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and how they connect to marketing efforts
  • Understanding of SEO best practices as they apply to social content and discoverability
  • Passion for storytelling in a business context the ability to turn dry data into compelling narratives
