Role Overview
We're looking for a Social Media Center Lead to build and scale a high-performing, multi-brand social ecosystem across platforms including Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, and owned communities.
This role leads a centralized Social Media Center that supports a portfolio of brands (with Samsung as a key account), driving content excellence, community growth, and measurable business impact. You will oversee a cross-functional team spanning social, community, and engagement/KOL management, ensuring consistent quality while tailoring strategies to each brand's unique objectives.
This is a leadership role for someone who can balance strategic thinking with operational precision, and turn social into a scalable growth engine across clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Strategy & Governance
- Own the end-to-end social media strategy across all platforms
- Translate business priorities into platform-native content and engagement frameworks
- Establish clear operating models, workflows, and governance for always-on and campaign-based activities
- Drive full-funnel impact: awareness → engagement → conversion → advocacy
2. Team Leadership & Structure
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team:
- Social Media Managers
- Community Managers
- Engagement Managers
- Build a high-performance culture anchored on speed, accountability, and experimentation
- Establish scalable ways of working, governance, and workflow systems
- Set KPIs and ensure alignment across roles to avoid silos
3. Content & Platform Excellence
- Ensure content is mobile-first, platform-native, and performance-driven
- Partner with creative and production teams to deliver high-volume, high-quality output
- Drive innovation in formats (short-form video, live, UGC, creator-led content)
4. Community & Ecosystem Growth
- Grow and manage owned and partner communities across brands
- Develop programs for KOLs, micro-creators, and ambassadors
- Build engagement strategies that convert audiences into active communities and advocates
5. KOL & Engagement Strategy
- Oversee KOL lifecycle management (recruitment, activation, performance tracking)
- Ensure creators are aligned with brand narrative and conversion goals
- Optimize engagement strategies to maximize reach, relevance, and ROI
6. Performance. Analytics & Optimization
- Own reporting across platforms: engagement, growth, sentiment, and conversion signals
- Translate data into actionable insights and optimization roadmaps
- Lead test-and-learn initiatives to improve content effectiveness and efficiency
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-function teams both internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure social is fully integrated into campaign planning and execution
- Partner with internal teams (strategy, creative, media, e-commerce) and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years in social media, digital marketing, or content strategy
- Proven experience managing multi-platform ecosystems at scale
- Strong leadership experience handling layered teams and diverse functions
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and emerging platform dynamics
- Experience with KOL/influencer ecosystems and community building
- Data-driven mindset with strong command of analytics and reporting tools
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume content environment
