Job Description:

The Social Media and Content Creator will manage and enhance CCF's International Church Planting's (ICP) online presence by providing a comprehensive platform for digital resources, weekly marketing packages, and information dissemination for Sunday worship services and other movement-wide or regional events and activities. This role will support new satellites and house churches in setting up social media accounts, ensuring branding consistency, and training local social media/communications teams. The coordinator will also identify and share compelling stories and testimonies, working closely with the media team and regional/local creatives to create engaging and transferable materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Resource Management

  • Develop and maintain a centralized platform for digital resources accessible to all satellites and house churches (HC).
  • Ensure that digital content is up-to-date, relevant, and easily accessible.

Weekly Marketing Packages

  • Create and disseminate weekly marketing packages for Sunday worship services and other movement-wide or regional events and activities.
  • Collaborate with CCF Comms team to gather necessary content and materials.

Worship Service Information

  • Provide clear and accurate information about worship services, events, and activities.
  • Update social media channels and the church website with current service times and locations.

Support Satellites and House Churches

  • Assist new satellites and house churches in setting up their social media accounts
  • Ensure that all accounts adhere to the church's branding guidelines.

Branding Consistency

  • Monitor and ensure that all social media content follows the church's branding standards.
  • Provide guidance and training on branding to local communications or social media teams.

Training and Cross-Posting

  • Train satellite social media / communications teams on effective social media practices, including cross-posting.
  • Develop training materials and conduct regular workshops or webinars.

Story and Testimony Identification

  • Work with satellites and HCs to identify and collect stories and testimonies for social media posting.
  • Develop a content calendar to schedule and share these stories effectively.

Collaboration with Media Team and Creatives

  • Partner with the media team and regional/local creatives to produce high-quality marketing and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate the creation of graphics, videos, and other multimedia content.
  • Proofread and edit marketing content; assist with copywriting and editing a variety of content across mediums e.g. social media, presentations, manuals, etc.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Provide regular reports to the ICP Director and suggest improvements based on analyses.

Key Result Areas:

  1. Develop social media and communications plan on the creation, standardization and alignment of existing social media accounts across ICPs by Dec 2025
  2. Present monthly and quarterly metrics with analysis and commentaries
  3. Build a community where social media and creatives teams can communicate and collaborate by Dec 2025
  4. Undergo CCF Comms-related training/s regarding standard practices on social media, promotions, cybersecurity, account monitoring and management, etc.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Content-creation and engagement tracking experience is a must

Skills:

  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of branding and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software is a plus.

Other details:

This is a full-time position, reporting to the ICP Team Lead. The position may require occasional evening and weekend work. Given the global scope of the role, working mostly with volunteers, occasional time zone-specific deliverables should be expected as a result.

Strong digital content-creation skills are needed for the role – backed up by portfolio

Candidate must be able to work under pressure with little supervision.

Good reporting and communication skills are required.

Being a CCF Dgroup Leader is a plus.
