Overview

As the Social Media & Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind the online growth of two distinct businesses. Your mission is to move beyond simple posting by building a cohesive, value-driven digital presence that connects with audiences across Facebook, Instagram, and email. You will handle the full lifecycle of digital engagement—from strategic content planning and SEO optimization to direct community management and email nurturing. This is an ideal role for a self-starting marketer who enjoys the challenge of building a brand's footprint from the ground up, translating product features into lifestyle content, and using data-driven insights to refine platform strategy and visibility.

Schedule:

  • Part-time, 20 hours per week, flexible schedule (4 hours per day), Monday to Friday preferred, specific timing to be determined

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar with two to three scheduled posts per week across Facebook and Instagram for two separate businesses
  • Create visually appealing content including featured product highlights, helpful tips, lifestyle posts, and other brand-relevant material
  • Manage community engagement by monitoring comments, messages, and interactions to build an active online presence
  • Plan and distribute regular email newsletters to grow and nurture a small subscriber list
  • Perform basic SEO tasks to improve website visibility and search performance for both company sites
  • Provide strategic recommendations on content formats (static images, reels, carousels) based on audience demographics and platform best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for small businesses, preferably building a presence from the ground up
  • Strong understanding of organic growth strategies across Facebook and Instagram
  • Experience creating and managing email newsletter campaigns
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and website content optimization
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across platforms
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once onboarded
