Upstack Data is a Miami-based SaaS building marketing automation for Shopify merchants. Our flagship product, Signal, replaces broken browser-based pixels with reliable first-party server-side events to Meta, TikTok, and other ad platforms. We're a lean, AI-first team running offshore-first - most of our engineering, GTM, and operations roles are filled with PH talent.
About This Role
We're looking for a Social Content Writer to own organic growth across LinkedIn and X for both Upstack and our founder's personal brand.
You'll create high-performing thought leadership content, ghostwrite in the founder's voice, and build a consistent content engine that drives attention, engagement, and distribution of lead magnets and marketing initiatives.
Working closely with the Growth Marketing Manager, you'll help shape content pillars, repurpose ideas into social content, and use AI tools to scale content creation and storytelling.
This is a writing-first role focused on LinkedIn/X growth, founder-led content, and AI-assisted content execution in a fast-moving startup environment.
What You'll Do
- Ghostwrite content for the founder across LinkedIn and Twitter/X, including posts, threads, thought leadership, and industry commentary
- Own Upstack's company social channels, including content planning, writing, scheduling, publishing, and engagement
- Develop thought leadership narratives around attribution, server-side tracking, marketing analytics, and the Shopify/DTC ecosystem
- Collaborate with the Growth Marketing Manager to develop content pillars and support broader content marketing initiatives
- Promote lead magnets, educational resources, and marketing campaigns through organic social content
- Create high-performing social content using proven hooks, storytelling frameworks, and platform-native formats
- Repurpose blogs, webinars, podcasts, customer stories, and other assets into engaging social content
- Build and maintain a content calendar across founder and company channels
- Monitor conversations, engage with industry leaders, and grow Upstack's presence within relevant communities
- Track content performance and continuously refine content strategy based on audience insights and engagement data
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, drafting, content repurposing, and workflow automation
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience creating content for B2B SaaS, technology, startup, or founder-led brands
- Proven experience writing LinkedIn and/or Twitter/X content that increased audience engagement, reach, followers, or inbound opportunities
- Experience ghostwriting or creating content on behalf of founders, executives, or subject matter experts
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and Twitter/X content formats, audience behavior, posting cadence, and engagement strategies
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt to different voices and audiences
- Strong understanding of hooks, content structures, thought leadership, and platform-native content creation
- Experience promoting lead magnets, webinars, newsletters, educational resources, or similar content marketing assets through social channels
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms to support content creation, research, ideation, and workflow efficiency
- Ability to independently manage a content calendar, publishing workflow, and content distribution process
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality content with minimal oversight
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment and taking ownership of outcomes
Nice To Have
- Experience marketing to Shopify merchants, DTC brands, e-commerce operators, or B2B SaaS audiences
- Familiarity with attribution, analytics, customer data, marketing technology, or performance marketing concepts
- Experience working directly with founders or helping build founder-led brands
- Experience repurposing long-form content into multi-channel content campaigns
- Familiarity with content scheduling, social media management, or creator workflow tools
- Experience creating newsletters, podcast content, video scripts, webinars, or educational content
- Basic understanding of SEO and content distribution strategies
