Qualifications And Requirements
For CSCA (Certified Social Compliance Auditor):
- Valid APSCA CSCA certification.
- Demonstrated experience leading independent social audits.
- Strong knowledge of international labor standards (e.g., SA8000, SMETA, BSCI,
WRAP).
- Excellent reporting, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
For ASCA (Associate Social Compliance Auditor)
- Valid APSCA ASCA registration.
- Some experience supporting social audits under supervision.
- Foundational understanding of audit methodology and labor standards.
- Motivation to progress toward full CSCA certification.
In General
- Previous experience in CSR audits, factory inspections, compliance, or supply chain
sustainability is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of international Labor standards (SA8000, ISO 45001, ILO conventions, and
local Labor laws).
Skills & Competencies
- Fluency in English; additional local languages are a strong asset.
- Familiarity with audit platforms
- Strong attention to detail, ethical judgment, and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex compliance issues.
- Excellent report writing and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information and maintain integrity.
- Willingness to travel frequently for on-site audits.
Contract Type: Part-time / Freelance(with potential for long-term collaboration)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site and remote social compliance audits in accordance with APSCA
standards.
- Interview workers and management to assess working conditions, labor practices, and
health & safety compliance.
- Prepare detailed, evidence-based audit reports with clear findings and corrective action
recommendations.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to support continuous improvement in supply
chain practices.
