Location: Mandaluyong, Philippines
We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced professional to serve as the SOC Operations Manager to be embedded within the Security Operations Center (SOC) of a private international institution in Mandaluyong.
The position is a:
- Work Arrangement: Fulltime ON-SITE position
- Duty Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, must be amenable to mid-shift and graveyard shift
Summary of the RoleThe SOC Operations Manager oversees shift activities of the SOC. You will provide direct leadership to SOC personnel, coordinate real-time response actions, allocate resources, and ensure consistent documentation and reporting of all incidents. You will be reporting to the SOC Security Risk Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise day-to-day operations across the Incident Coordination, CCTV Monitoring, and Information units.
- Ensure 24/7 operational continuity, managing a shift-based rotation for continuous coverage.
- Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and oversee timely incident escalation and response actions.
- Directly lead SOC staff, including resource allocation, tasking, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure clear and structured incident reporting and documentation.
- Provide operational support and oversight to Security Information Analysts during non-regular hours.
- Maintain situational awareness and enforce operational discipline within the SOC environment.
QualificationsRequired- A Bachelor's degree in security studies, law enforcement, business administration, crisis management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in operational security, command center leadership, or SOC-related functions.
- Proven ability to maintain operational oversight across multiple units (Incident Coordination, CCTV Monitoring, Information Analysis).
- Strong shift management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership under pressure, with sound judgment in emergency or rapidly evolving situations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for inter-unit and inter-agency engagement.
- Effective SOP implementation and escalation oversight during real-time incidents.
- PNP-SOSIA license is required.
- First Aid/CPR certification is required.
Preferred- A Master's degree in a relevant field is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with institutional risk frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, ISO 22301, or ISO 22320) is desirable.
Alternatives- Equivalent combinations of education, technical certifications, and operational supervisory experience—particularly in military, police, or emergency services—may be accepted.
- Three (3) years of security operations experience in a leadership or supervisory role, combined with relevant military or public safety experience and operational certifications, may be accepted.
